Power over others:

It is the most common thing what we see in everywhere in the world and it is also available in our community. Basically in our family we see that our parents always impose their power over us.

the power to realize desires or needs:

This is a kind of a power what the advertisement agency do in our community by using mass media. They make us understand what we need.

Cooperative power:

It means that two groups get agreed when they need or they will get benefits. For example,

teacher and student make a cooperation becuase its good for both of them especially foe student.

Impersonal power:

Impersonal power means that is related to wasa bill and electric bill etc.

Institutional power:

This power is related to institution which means what are the rules and regulation for running institution. For example, ULAB has few power to run the institution.

Mass Media is so powerful that mass people are influenced by the mass media. Mass people don't investigate what is true or false though it becomes impossible.
Movie is the one of the most impotant mass media nowadays because movie has its own language by which mass people can understand what they see in the movie. The movie " Wag the Dog" reflects the idea of mass media constructing in a way that the movie has the greatest idea how media can dominate or influence the peolpe. We see in the movie how the present president of the U. S. A get rid of sex scandal before election by hiring a film producer to make a movie as a news about fake war against Albenia then we also see peole become so concerned in the news. Then people forget about president's sex scandal and poeple like his contribution in the war. I think people get more important issue than before what they were concerning about. People dont get the right or wrong information but people get biosed. The president understand that what people's psychology. So it is how mass media construct reality and influence people.
